Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Fireplace
Fireplaces are only available for use November 1 to May 1. Midgett Realty does not provide wood for wood burning fireplaces. Some fireplaces are only decorative, which will be noted in the house description.

Sheets provided year round. For all full- and partial-week stays checking in after May 23 and before September 5, 2025 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Dual wall ovens and dishwashers make cooking and cleanup for your hungry crew a cinch, and stunning ocean-to-sound views are sure to brighten any day while the cozy fireplace is a treat on cool winter evenings. Slumber in peace in the queen en suite bedroom with deck access and ocean views, featuring a separate shower stall and Jacuzzi tub in the soundview private bath. Catch a stunning sunrise or sunset from the spacious sundeck that wraps around two sides of the house. A half bathroom completes this level.
Another flight of stairs leads to the catwalk overlooking the living area. Two steps lead down into another king en suite bedroom with shower stall in the soundview private bath. Relax on the private oceanfront sundeck while you stargaze by night.
Take the spiral staircase to the quiet loft with panoramic views of the ocean and sound, the perfect place for family games or curling up with a good book.
Stroll to the beach via the sand path behind the home and let the waves wash your cares away. Step back in time at the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum next door, have an off-road adventure via the 4x4 beach access ramp right around the corner, or head directly across the road to hop on the free ferry to Ocracoke.
