The Happy Crabber Charter Trip

Fun Family Oriented Calm Water Crabbing, and Fishing Trips- NOW BOOKING
If you haven’t experienced “The Happy Crabber” Trip, with Custom Sound Charters, hurry and book today and don’t miss out on these great water adventures, all in the calm backwaters of the Pamlico Sound! This is a half-day adventure, leaving Oden’s Dock, in Hatteras Village, either at 7:00am and returning at 11:00am, or leaving at 12 noon and returning at 4:00pm. Trip rates are $500 cash discount, personal check, or traveler’s check, or $525 for credit cards.
The day will begin with pulling Blue Crab traps, re-baiting the traps, and going through the catch and picking out and measuring the keep able Crabs, and returning the smaller ones back to the water. After the Blue Crab adventure, the crew will either be bottom fishing, or trolling in the calm waters of the Sound for Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Trout, Flounders, Croakers and Spots. The whole catch is yours to keep!
This is a great family oriented trip, and everyone will have a blast and also learn a thing or two about the waters! Aboard, you will learn how fish and shellfish are harvested and processed in the Commercial Fishing Industry.
