Monday through Saturday, June 24-29 Come out to the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum located in Hatteras Village for a day filled with fun! The Ahoy Storyboard Series will be held from 10am-4pm and different events will take place during this time such as treasure hunts, movie showings, crafts and more!
Tuesday and Wednesday, June 25-26 Come on out to the Kitty Hawk Kites Stores in Hatteras Village, Avon and Waves for Kitty Hawk Kids Day! Enjoy fun activities with the kids while on vacation! Join us at the Kitty Hawk Kites stores in Hatteras Village and Avon every Tuesday and in Waves every Wednesday for some great fun with the kids. Tuesday, June 25 Join us at the Beach Klub in Avon for a weekly Luau! The Avon Luau will feature live entertainment, traditional island food, drinks, and an open pool for the entire family to enjoy. So come out and enjoy the fun!
Tuesday, June 25 Come out and enjoy Open Mic at Hatteras Sol in Hatteras Village, located at Stowe on 12! Bring your instruments and your best singing voice for a night of great entertainment.
Wednesday, June 26 Drop off the teens at the Beach Klub in Avon for Teen Night! Teen Night will feature live DJ music, games, snacks, and more.
Wednesday, June 26 Everyone is welcome to come out to the Cape Hatteras Angelrs Club in Buxton on Wednesday night for Bingo!
Wednesday, June 26 Come out and enjoy some great live music at Hatteras Landing Marina in Hatteras Village from 6-9pm every Wednesday night! Enjoy great foods and drinks while watching the sunset from the docks.
Thursday, June 27 Come out and enjoy a night of great music by Proverbial at the Beach Klub in Avon! The doors open at 7pm and tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.
Friday, June 28 Come out every Friday night for great live music at Capt’n Rolos Raw Bar & Grill!
Friday, June 28 Come out and join us at Indian Town Gallery in Frisco for Arit-Gras! Arti-Gras will be featuring the areas best and well known art instructors for the day, teaching different art techniques. Spend the day with these instructors studying several art disciplines or one particular technique. Registration required and the cost for the day is $75 which all materials will be provided. The featured instructors include Phil Bickley on Glass Blowing; Liz Corsa on Drawing; Lena Ennis on Oil Painting; Vicky Lowe on Watercolors; Betty Kungle on Sea Glass Jewelry; Don Bowers on Photography; Chris Cantwell on Traditional Pearl Stringing. More to be announced so be sure to check out this event online!
Saturday, June 29 Everyone loves a good fish fry right? Well you are in luck! Head out to the Hatteras Fire Station and Avon Fire Station and enjoy local fish fries every Saturday! From 5-7pm feast on locally caught fried fish, hush puppies, cole slaw, and potato salad. We hope to see you there:)
