Hatteras Island lovers rejoice!
Village Market Red & White has opened its doors under the new management of co-owners Charles Graham and Wes Sigmon. Charles and Wes are maintaining the tradition of a family business, just as it has been since its original opening by locals Caleb and Alonzo (“A.J.”) Stowe back in 1866, all the way until its most recent former owners, the Burrus family.
Rich in island history, the Village Market will continue to serve the community as it has done for generations, with freshly stocked produce, bread, meats and dairy, and all of the commodities one might want from their local grocer, not to mention the fully stocked wine aisle and walk-in beer cooler! Soon to come are a deli and bakery, which will complete this wonderfully renovated addition to Hatteras Village! Be sure to stop in and say hello to our new friends when you come through town!
