Plenty of indoor space is coupled with expansive outdoor space that puts you right near the water and makes for an easy and fun island beach vacation. You won’t have to pack up every time you want to enjoy outdoor things to do in Waves, NC, leaving you relaxed and rejuvenated.
Exterior Features
Arrive at the home and take in the two-story structure. The wood exteriors have been weathered by time and the effects of Mother Nature. Also surrounded by natural vegetation, the home blends into the natural environment. There is a cozy under-home patio with steps that lead to a private deck. Open the door to the private master suite.
To unpack your things in the other bedrooms, head up the outdoor steps to the second level of the home. The expansive deck hosts multiple seating areas, as well as the entry to the rest of the home. Up a third flight of steps is a lookout tower deck – see out beyond the dunes to the waves of the Atlantic Ocean! On the street-facing side of the home, two bedrooms have access to the balcony over the ground-floor patio and deck area.
Interior Amenities
Step into Hatteras Island relaxation! The door opens onto the living area of the massive great room. Set your bags aside and take a seat on the cozy couch, loveseat, or armchair in beachy colors. Plan the day or turn your attention to the flat-screen TV above the decorative fireplace. Watch your favorite movies or TV shows.
Make your next stop the fully equipped kitchen. White appliances join expansive counters and a myriad of cupboards and drawers. Open any of them and find all the basics you’ll need to prepare and serve a delicious home-cooked meal. Share the meal around the dining table that seats six or grab a snack at the peninsula bar that seats four.
For your convenience, just off the kitchen is the laundry area with a full-size washer, dryer, and utility sink. Head to the lower level – it has a private entrance – for more fun. The game room has a full-size pool table, as well as a wall-mounted flat-screen TV to keep up with the game or your favorite TV show while you play.
At the end of a long day, choose a private bedroom. The master suite is on the lower level behind the game room. That means you have your own private entrance! After the fun and games are done for the night, slip into the king-size bed. There is a large night table with storage, as well as a lamp. A dresser with a mirror also holds a lamp, so either occupant can read and wind down before drifting off to sleep. There is another dresser, an open closet, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV in the room as well. Stay comfortable! The room has its own air conditioning unit.
Keep your daily routine private. The en suite bath hosts a spacious shower stall and single-sink vanity. The rest of the bedrooms are accessed from inside the home, down the hall from the great room. The second bedroom hosts a wicker king bedroom set, two dressers, two night tables, and a flat-screen TV. There is also access to the balcony on the street side of the home.
The third bedroom hosts a queen-size bed, a night table with a lamp, and a dresser. The two rooms share a Jack & Jill bathroom that boasts a tub/shower combo and single-sink vanity. The final bedroom is perfect for kids or a family wanting to stick together. It hosts two twin beds as well as a queen bed. There is a night table as well as a desk with a lamp. This room also has access to the street-side deck. This room shares the hall bathroom, which features a tub/shower combo and single-sink vanity. There’s space for everyone to enjoy a Hatteras Island vacation!
