Unheated private pools are available for arrival dates from April 11 to October 16, 2025 unless otherwise noted in the property description. Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) are available for arrival dates from April 4 to October 30, 2025.

Pool Heat $600
Heated private pools are available for arrival dates from April 4 to October 30, 2025. Pool heat can be added for an additional fee. Certain private pools offer free heat. During times of extremely low temperature or high wind, pools may not heat to what tenant believes to be an acceptable temperature. No refund will be given due to adverse weather conditions. Pool heat requested on check-in day or later will result in an additional convenience fee.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Fireplace
Fireplaces are only available for use November 1 to May 1. Midgett Realty does not provide wood for wood burning fireplaces. Some fireplaces are only decorative, which will be noted in the house description.

Sheets will be left on the beds for you. No towels are provided. Upgrades to the linen package can be made after booking via phone or through our app.

Boat Dock
We offer homes with both shallow water and deep water docks. We can also arrange dockage in a local marina. Please call our reservation department at 1-800-527-2903 to find the best fit for your boat.

Covered parking under the house has stairs up to the first level, where a king en suite bedroom with TV opens onto a private covered deck overlooking the canal. The bubbly hot tub on this level will hit the spot when you’re looking to soothe your cares away.
Two queen en suite bedrooms, one with TV, and a en suite bedroom with two bunk sets and TV are on the middle level. Relax in the cool breeze on the covered deck off the hallway.
The open living, dining, and kitchen area with breakfast bar on the top level is designed for spending time with family with the 55-inch TV with Bluetooth Surround Sound. Stunning sound views will wow you from the living area and partially covered deck, the perfect perch for catching a magnificent sunset. Cozy up in front of the gas fireplace on cool off-season evenings or retreat to the sound view loft area to curl up with a good book. A half bathroom with laundry area are also on this level.
Take a dip in the private pool with available heat or tie up your boat at the private dock and spend your days exploring the Pamlico Sound. Four kayaks and a paddleboard are available for your use for outdoor adventures on the water. Fishing, clamming, and crabbing will bring home the catch of the day for delectable seafood feasts.
With some of the best shopping, dining, and other fun family activities just a short drive away, A Bit of Paradise is ideally situated no matter what vacation adventure you seek.
