These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Any additional restrictions (for example, some property owners only permit dogs) will be noted in the property details. An additional pet fee could be incurred. Private Pool
Unheated private pools are available for arrival dates from April 11 to October 16, 2025 unless otherwise noted in the property description. Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) are available for arrival dates from April 4 to October 30, 2025.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full- and partial-week stays checking in after May 23 and before September 5, 2025 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Nestled on the charming Buxton oceanside, Heavenly Hideaway is a serene rental property offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for your family and pups. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Outer Banks, this pet-friendly getaway boasts breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and easy access to pristine beaches.
The first living level boasts three of the homes four cozy bedrooms, all of which are king en suites. Also on this level, a den with pyramid bunk offers additional flexibility in sleeping arrangements. While the laundry area is centrally located for convenience, an elevator that reaches all levels can be easily accessed by the entry door at the end of the hall.
Family time will come full circle on the top living level that hosts an open kitchen, dining, and living area. A classic white kitchen features chic gold hardware paired with stainless appliances and beautiful quartz tops with a breakfast bar that seats four. The adjacent living area is outfitted in comfort seating that is luxuriously upholstered in rich variations of leather and suede. Just off the dining room, a wraparound porch offers sun and shade with ocean views so you can enjoy every ounce of time outside while visiting the island. The final bedroom, another king en suite is tucked at the opposite end of the floor next to the half bath that services the level.
Outside spaces are equally as inviting with the spacious private pool, outdoor rain shower, and under-home wet bar. Nearby beach access makes days in the sun as convenient as they are fun. Walk the beach for a visit to the famous Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, or hit the town by foot, bike, or car to see the village’s wide variety of entertainment options including eateries, shops, and so much more!
