These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Any additional restrictions (for example, some property owners only permit dogs) will be noted in the property details. An additional pet fee could be incurred. Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full- and partial-week stays checking in after May 23 and before September 5, 2025 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Inside, you’ll adore the equally charming interior as you’re greeted with original cedarwood shiplap that carries throughout the home. The first floor hosts three of the four bedrooms: two queen bedrooms and a room with a pyramid bunk and one single. While both queen bedrooms offer their own TV, one also has direct entry to the bath that services the floor, as well as direct access to the ocean-facing shaded deck with hot tub. A laundry area that is central to the floor completes the first level.
Up on the second floor you’ll find the true comforts of your home away from home. Wood accents continue through the upper level with high angled ceilings and skylights that create a cozy backdrop for ultimate relaxation after long days at the beach. The open living, dining and kitchen area are complemented by cozy furnishings and ample seating, as well as a half bath that services the floor. The final bedroom, a queen en suite, boasts its own TV as well as private entrance to its own sundeck just off the screened porch. Panoramic views of the Avon oceanfront continue to astound from the top-level decks. With plenty of space you can indulge in front row seats to a picturesque sunrise, cozy up with a good book, enjoy cocktails among friends, and stargaze into the notoriously darkened Hatteras Island skies. And if you’re a little too sun-soaked, enjoy the same views from inside the nearby screened porch.
Follow the wooden boardwalk behind the home that will deliver you directly to the ocean’s edge. The pups will love stretching their legs on the shore as they, too, explore all that it has to offer.
