Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full- and partial-week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Covered parking and dry entry through the ground level laundry area make move-in quick and easy. Take the steps up to the first level, where you will find rest and relaxation in four comfortably appointed bedrooms. Two queen bedrooms each have sliders to the shaded oceanside deck and share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Another Jack-and-Jill bathroom is shared by a bedroom with two bunk sets boasting access to a private deck, and a queen bedroom offering entry to the wraparound shaded deck. All bedrooms have Smart TVs.
Upstairs you will find a queen en suite bedroom with Smart TV and access to the oceanview sundeck. This bedroom features a jetted tub and a separate shower in the bathroom. Gather together in the living area with wet bar for family movie night on the 65” TV, or curl up with a good book. The adjacent kitchen and dining area with breakfast bar opens onto the screened porch, perfect for a picnic lunch with the sound of the ocean in the background. Watch the sunrise or work on your tan on the oceanview sundeck.
If you’re looking for either relation or fun in the sun, you’ve come to the right place. Take a soothing soak in the bubbly hot tub located on the ground level off the carport area and the community beach access is just a few houses down in either direction. Reel in the catch of the day or simply sight-see from the nearby Avon Fishing Pier. Treat yourself to dinner at one of many local restaurants within a few minutes’ drive or bike ride. Enjoy the best Hatteras Island and Avon have to offer when you stay at Ocean View Haven!
