Private Pool
Unheated private pools are available for arrival dates from April 11 to October 16, 2025 unless otherwise noted in the property description. Heated private pools and pool heat (if provided) are available for arrival dates from April 4 to October 30, 2025.

Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Fireplace
Fireplaces are only available for use November 1 to May 1. Midgett Realty does not provide wood for wood burning fireplaces. Some fireplaces are only decorative, which will be noted in the house description.

Gold - All Seasons
Sheets and towels are provided for all full and partial week stays. Beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Get wild at Roaring Surf, an oceanfront home with ocean views from every deck and tons of amenities to make your stay on Hatteras Island both fun-filled and convenient!
A ground level game room gets the party started with a foosball table, card table, and seating area around a TV for catching the game. A full bathroom is also nearby for added convenience.
Everyone will get a good night’s rest on the second level, which hosts four of the home’s five bedrooms: two queen bedrooms offering access to the oceanside shaded deck, a room with two singles, and a room with a pyramid bunk. Two full baths and the laundry area complete this level.
Top-level living will easily bring everyone together in the relaxed living room with wood fireplace. A well-equipped kitchen with beadboard cabinets and stainless appliances will make for both a happy chef and their hungry taste testers. A dining table with plenty of seating for your entire party is complimented by a breakfast bar and a window-facing bar top with ocean views, perfect for a cup of coffee among friends. The final bedroom, a king room, and another full bath complete this level. For a private retreat, climb the captain’s ladder to the crow’s nest to relax in the lofted sitting area, or head out onto the sundeck to bask in a heavenly dose of Vitamin D.
Outside amenities will prove to be equally exciting. For a little friendly competition, utilize the outdoor volleyball court to work up a sweat and then cool off in the private pool. After a day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower, clean your catch at the fish cleaning station, and then cook it up on the park-style charcoal grill. When you’re ready to wind down, take a relaxing soak in the bubbly hot tub, rinse, rest and repeat!
