Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

From the building’s elevator to the single-level floor plan, your stay here at Durant Station will be a convenient choice for all ages from the moment you arrive. A choice of ample parking with both open and covered space is available and not designated by unit.

Relax in the comfortably furnished and well equipped open kitchen with solid surface countertops, breakfast bar seating and living area with queen sleep sofa and TV, wireless hi-speed internet, and Premium HD DirecTV System, DVR, & HBO. The queen bedroom with TV has a semi-private bathroom that also opens to the hallway. Step out to the furnished oceanfront sundeck that overlooks the spacious community swimming pool and adjacent hot tub, and enjoy a sunrise and amazing panoramic ocean views from this perch. Or relax with your favorite beverage while watching the sunset or just taking in the scenery rain or shine from the furnished covered deck.

Additional Durant Station amenities, include a fish cleaning station to prepare your catch and a BBQ area to grill it. An outside shower facility, ground level coin-operated washer/dryer, plus the community clubhouse, which has the original historic Durant Lifesaving Station tower on top and is considered a rich piece of Hatteras Island's past. This space is ideal for relaxing and features a sitting area with TV and electric fireplace on the first level. The second level has a pool table, a full kitchen and tables with seating and provides space where you can gather with old friends and make new memories.

Located just outside is the new Hatteras Village Pathway which connects Sea-Watch At Durant by a nice walk or bike ride on the multi-use path to Hatteras Village. When you are ready for some beach time, take the short walk via the private wooden walkway just steps from your door. With marinas, shops, restaurants, and exciting activities like watersports and equipment rentals all close by there is something for everyone to enjoy.
